Cinco de Mayo Drink Recipe

Cinco de Mayo is almost here, and we’re getting into the festive cocktail spirit with drink recipes from our friends at SALVACIÓN Mezcal. A delicious departure from tequila, mezcal is made from a selection of over 35 agave plants, and offers a distinctly smoky flavor that comes from its handcrafted distillery process.

Using carefully harvested agaves roasted in an earthen pit, the agave is then crushed by a stone wheel and double distilled in a clay oven, resulting in the multi-note, signature smoky flavor. And while this special spirit offers up a tasty sip on its own, we also love it in a mixed cocktail.
