How Do I Choose the Best Mattress Size?

Picking the best mattress size can be a little tricky. After all, there are a lot of options. The most common mattress sizes are twin, twin XL, full, queen, and king. The list does go on, as there are other sizes like small single, full XL, and California king. The difference among all these options are the dimensions. Think of this as your size chart: Twin measures 38” x 75”; twin XL measures 38” x 80”; full measures 53” x 75”; queen measures 60” x 80”; and king measures 76” x 80”. We developed an exclusive mattress size that we named Florida King. It comes in at 108” wide—a whopping 9 feet. To put that in perspective, that is more than 42 percent bigger than a king mattress.

 

When picking out your mattress size, remember to consider all the factors. Firstly, what is the size of the room? You need a mattress that not only fits, but leaves enough space to accommodate your other furniture and space to get around. How many people will be sleeping in the bed at once? Queen and king sizes work best for two adults. How tall are the sleepers? People over six feet tall will usually find greater comfort with twin XL, queen, and king sizes.
