CITY FURNITURE, FLORIDA PANTHERS AND AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION TO HOST HEART DASH AT AMERICAN BANK ARENA ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 27 

Local youth hockey players from the Panthers IceDen to participate in a Dash for Heart Health 

WHAT: CITY Furniture, Florida Panthers, and the American Heart Association (AHA), are hosting the “Heart Dash” event for local youth hockey players. 

• Local youth hockey players from the Panthers IceDen will partake in a Heart Dash during the first intermission, showcasing their commitment to heart health awareness through physical activity on the ice. 

• All hockey fans are invited to participate in the Heart Dash Bingo Challenge before the game at the CITY Lounge. This interactive challenge is fun all ages, and aims to raise awareness for heart health, with the fastest participant winning a Zamboni Ride during the 2nd intermission. 

• CITY Furniture will generously donate a CPR kit to the Panthers IceDen in Coral Springs through the Panthers Foundation, equipping the young participating athletes with essential CPR skills to potentially save lives in cardiac emergencies. 

• The CITY Furniture Heart Dash promises to be a fun and educational event for all Panthers fans, with the goal of raising awareness of the importance of CPR training and promoting heart health.  

• This event is one of many initiatives included as part of CITY Furniture’s 5% Giving Pledge, which dedicates a minimum of five percent of net profits annually to build stronger communities. 

WHEN: Tuesday, February 27  

• 5:30pm: CITY Lounge opens to all fans at Amerant Bank Arena 

• 6:00 pm: Stanley C. Panther & Florida Panthers Dance Team Arrive at CITY Lounge 

• 6:15 pm: CPR Kit Presentation to League 

• 1st Intermission: Dash Occurs On Ice 

• 2nd Intermission: Zamboni Ride for Bingo Winners
