Taking care of our planet is one of our biggest commitments at CITY Furniture, and we’re taking steps all the time to increase our impact. One of those steps is offering eco-friendly furniture to our customers. It all started with the launch of our Seattle collection, and we’ve since grown our offerings to include many options and styles, so you can always create a home that looks good, feels good, and is good for our planet.

Like we said, the start of our green furniture journey started with the Seattle whole home collection. Seattle is special because it’s made from reclaimed wood, which another term for recycled wood. The wood is FSC-certified, which means that it’s sustainably sourced from responsibly managed forests. This designation comes from the Forest Steward Council, and it ensures that the forests are treated in a way that allows them to recover and thrive. This all serves to support cleaner air, and so many benefits to preserve our planet.

Another great thing about Seattle is that we’re planting a tree for each piece sold from the collection. We are doing this through a partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, and to date we’ve planted thousands and thousands of trees, with the goal to keep on going.

And it doesn’t end there—Seattle also happens to be very stylish and versatile. The casual design is laid-back, and can be styled to fit a variety of styles. The wood features plenty of built-in character, and comes in two finishes to match your home. The collection is available for the whole home, with options for the bedroom, dining room, and living room.
